According to the intolerant Left, “hate speech” means anything that doesn’t agree with left-wing narratives and delusions

In the age of President Donald J. Trump, the Alt-Left “progressive” movement has begun an all-out assault on the Constitution’s guarantees of free speech, expression, and assembly, and they are being aided and abetted by a Democratic Party that has transformed itself into America’s largest hate group.

Through the use of violence and intimidation, domestic terrorist groups like Antifa are waging war against any individuals or groups who support Trump or conservative ideology, under the false premise of fighting against “racism” and “bigotry.”

As reported by Campus Reform, U.S. Rep. Anthony Brown, D-Md., said recently he plans to introduce legislation that would essentially permit college campuses to legally shut down free speech.

Under the guise of blocking “hate speech” — which is being defined by the radical Left as any speech that they disagree with — Brown’s measure seeks to give Leftist college administrators the power to do something they’ve wanted for decades: To criminalize conservative speech and conservative ideology.

As reported by The Diamondback:

If passed, the bill would require universities and colleges to demonstrate they have programs and initiatives in place that clearly define to students “what is acceptable speech and what is not acceptable speech,” Brown (D-Md.) said to a room of roughly 150 people at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center.

For institutions that might lack the necessary resources to create these programs, the bill would set aside grant money to “take away any excuse,” Brown said.

So not only would his bill give university administrators arbitrary authority to decide what’s “acceptable” speech, Brown also seeks to reward their trashing of the Constitution’s protections with taxpayer money.

And of course, because Democrats are the real authoritarians, Brown’s measure would also ‘push’ universities to report hate crimes to local law enforcement (as if they didn’t already). What such provisions usually mean in Congress-speak is that while voluntary, they are written in such a way that gives the affected party no choice. It’s like saying, “Well, you don’t have to report this crime, but if you don’t, there’s another provision of my bill that will punish you in some way.”

“If you want to see things change, or at least change in government, you first have to know they’re happening,” Brown told the crowd. “That’s why we have to have the reporting requirement.”

Riiiight.

Who is this guy fooling? And who does he think he is? What right does he have to decide, with the rest of the haters in the Democratic Party, who can and cannot speak on a college campus? Brown’s bill is based on one incident in which a white student attending the University of Maryland who belonged to a Facebook group titled “Alt-Reich: Nation,” stabbed a fellow black student to death recently. And as horrific as that is, one senseless, race-based crime does not a trend make. Rather, Brown is simply taking advantage of the tragedy to push a larger agenda of shutting down political speech he and his fellow Democrats don’t like and cannot intellectually refute.

Think not? Brown also took the occasion of discussing his authoritarian legislation to do what all elected Democrats have done, especially minorities like him: Blame Trump. As Campus Reform noted further:

Brown also said that he thinks there is a strong correlation between the election of President Trump and the increases in racism and anger that he claims are happening in portions of the white community.

Have you ever met anyone as hung up on race as a Democrat? It’s all they talk about. And why? Because their party is bankrupt, ideologically, and one of the only ways they can garner any support is to turn as many people as they can into victims. It’s disgusting, frankly.

Another way is to simply silence the opposition — with intimidation, violence, and, if possible, the law. That’s what a true “hate crime” looks like.
