Left-wing LAWLESS governors in New York and California pardon illegal aliens to shield them from deportation

A coordinated effort is underway by Alt-Left Democratic governors to subvert the Trump administration’s very legitimate efforts to remove people who are in our country illegally.

In what is clearly another example of elected Democrats assuming the right to pick and choose which laws they shall enforce, Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gov. Jerry Brown of California have recently pardoned illegal immigrants because they believe that will save them from being deported.

As Fox News reported, Cuomo granted pardons to 18 illegal immigrants who were facing deportation by the federal government — and he did it not because it was the right thing to do, but because he wanted to stick his finger in President Donald J. Trump’s eye.

“While the federal government continues to target immigrants and threatens to tear families apart with deportation, these actions take a critical step toward a more just, more fair and more compassionate New York,” he tweeted.

Riiight. Tell it to all the victims of illegal alien crime, your ‘excellency.’

In all, Cuomo granted clemency to 61 convicted criminals while pardoning 39 more for misdemeanor and nonviolent offenses.

Meanwhile, Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown has done similar damage to the rule of law in his state, pardoning two men on the verge of being deported by the Trump administration. The two Cambodians Brown pardoned lived in northern California; one was convicted in 2003 for felonious joyriding (apparently you can have too much fun — in California), while the second was convicted in 1995 on a felony weapons charge with a gang enhancement (just the sort of person you’d love to have living next to you).

Naturally, neither man will have to deal directly with the fallout of their ridiculous pandering. Both live well-guarded by armed state police officers, and neither of them will thus be subject to any illegal alien crime anytime soon. (Related: Part of the PROBLEM: Gov. ‘Moonbeam’ in Calif. PARDONS immigrant FELONS facing deportation.)

But their constituents will. In fact, one man whose son was killed by an illegal alien blasted Brown’s decision (and the state legislature’s larger decision in October to declare California a “sanctuary state”).

Don Rosenberg, whose son Drew was killed in 2010 by an unlicensed illegal immigrant driver,  told Fox & Friends that Brown’s position toward illegal immigrants is “terrible.”

“Well, for those in California who know about his folly with our bullet train, I wish he would get on that bullet train — first stop to hell — and he should get off and stay there. His concern for criminals, be they legal or not, is outrageous and has cost the lives of many Californians,” Rosenberg said.

He noted that the Honduran man, Roberto Galo, who killed his son eventually was convicted, but on reduced charges of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. The fact that he was in the country illegally didn’t appear to even factor into the conviction.

After his son’s death, Obama-era immigration officials refused to deport Galo, though after “about eight months, along with fishing a lot of hell, then we finally got him deported,” Rosenberg said.

“But he managed to stay in the country for another two years. Spent all of 43 days in jail for killing somebody,” he continued, adding that his son was attending law school in California when he was essentially murdered.

And gee whiz Gov. Moonbeam, who else has been killed recently by an illegal alien in San Francisco, the big sanctuary city that it is? Kate Steinle, who was murdered by an illegal as she walked along the city’s crowded Pier 14, that’s who.

Then again, forgiving illegal alien lawlessness is a “thing” in California; Kate’s killer, Jose Ines Garcia Zarate of Mexico was acquitted of murder and only convicted on what amounted to a gun crime.

You folks living in these states need to become preppers because your top elected officials are doing all they can to make you less safe.
